App: Snap Play · Last updated: May 21, 2026
Snap Play (the “App”) is developed and operated by an independent developer based in Vietnam (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the App and how it is handled. By using Snap Play, you agree to this policy.
In short: Snap Play is a personal video library and player. Your videos stay on your device, and on your own private iCloud if you turn on sync. We do not operate our own servers, we do not require an account, and we never collect or sell your personal videos. A few third‑party services (Google AdMob, Google Firebase, and Apple) process limited technical data as described below.
1. Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to use the App.
- We do not have servers that store, upload, or read your videos. Your imported videos remain on your device (and in your private iCloud only if you enable iCloud sync).
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information processed when you use the App
Videos and media you import
When you import videos from your Photo Library, the Files app, or via AirDrop, those files are stored locally inside the App on your device. If you are a Premium subscriber and enable iCloud sync, your library is synced through your own private iCloud account, which is operated by Apple. We cannot access the contents of your iCloud.
Photo Library access
The App requests access to your Photo Library only so you can choose and import the videos you want to manage. We do not scan, upload, or transmit your photos or videos to us or any third party.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
For users on the free version, the App displays ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may process technical data such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, device type and operating system, and ad interaction events. Personalized advertising is used only where you have given the appropriate consent. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
App Tracking Transparency & consent
On first launch, the App may ask for permission to track you using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency, and (where applicable, e.g. in the EEA/UK) for advertising consent via Google’s consent management. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized using a tracking identifier. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to diagnose crashes so we can improve stability. This may include pseudonymous usage events, device model, OS and app version, language, and crash diagnostics. This information is not used to identify you personally.
Purchases (Apple)
Subscriptions (Snap Play Premium) are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We receive only your subscription/entitlement status from Apple so the App can unlock Premium features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell your data. Technical data described above is processed by our service providers — Google (advertising, analytics, crash reporting) and Apple (purchases, iCloud) — in accordance with their own privacy policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Data retention
Videos and settings stored on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google and Apple is retained according to their respective policies.
5. Your choices and rights
- Decline or revoke ad tracking at any time in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.
- Delete your data by removing videos in the App or uninstalling the App.
- Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data; contact us using the email below.
6. Children
Snap Play is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
7. Security
Data stored on your device is protected by iOS security features, and any iCloud data is protected by Apple. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we and our providers take reasonable measures to protect data.
8. International users
Our service providers (Google and Apple) may process data in countries other than your own. By using the App you understand that such processing may occur under their privacy frameworks.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
