Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Snap Play mobile application (the “App”), developed and operated by an independent developer based in Vietnam (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Snap Play on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Your content

Snap Play is a tool for organizing and playing videos that you import from your own device. You are solely responsible for the videos and other content you add to the App, and you represent that you own them or have the necessary rights to use them. You must not use the App to store, play, or distribute content that is illegal or that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party. We do not host, monitor, or access your content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• use the App to infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law;
• interfere with or disrupt the App or the services it relies on.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Snap Play offers an optional premium upgrade (“Snap Play Premium”) through auto-renewable subscriptions, available as weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. The following terms apply:

• Prices are shown in the App and are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) after purchase.
• Payments, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s policies; we are not able to issue refunds directly.

5. Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by advertising. Subscribing to Snap Play Premium removes ads and unlocks additional features.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its original content (excluding the videos and content you import) are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services, including Apple (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud) and Google (AdMob, Firebase). Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will not be lost. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important videos.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
